Same Lake, New Store

Hey Everyone -- Today we're launching a new holiday-shopping version of our online store, FEEDTHELAKE.COM.  If you're wondering why on earth we call the store FEEDTHELAKE.COM, pop on over and find out.

I'm really excited about the music and books we have there.  Years ago I toured with Rich Mullins, and one of the things I've always remembered about him was his enthusiasm for music and books he loved.  He literally forced me to sit down with G. K. Chesterton's ORTHODOXY*, and he read along over for my shoulder for most of it.  I guess this little store is my attempt to do that with you -- pretty much everything in there is something I'd make you listen to or read if we got to hang out for very long.

So check it out!

(Oh, and if you're into sales and the like, we've got up to 40% off over there right now, so you can feed your soul and get a bargain at the same time!)

12/11/09 - NEW UPDATE-- Orthodoxy and several other great new titles now up at FeedTheLake!

As we say at the store -- Merry Shopping and Happy Christmas!

Yeah, I know the feeling . . .

Or, to twist a bit of something Pierce Pettis might say -- "When you really love a song you can hold out for so long/Then you just cut loose and sing . . ." And I am reminded, too, of Madeleine L'Engle's "Walking on Water" and the idea that art finds its completion in being shared. Not that Carolyn would know anything about those good people . . . ;-)

Great new look on the webstore -- bolder, brighter, easier to navigate! Can hardly wait until you add some more authors. "Father Joe" is waiting patiently on my nightstand until I finish some Wodehouse (because Roger Kimball -- "Lives of the Mind" -- is forcing me :-)!).

Thanks!
